1. For positions requiring prior experience, candidates must have gained that experience after completing the necessary educational qualifications specified for the respective post. It’s important to note that internships, training, or research experiences obtained during the pursuit of educational qualifications will not be considered as valid experience for the applied post.

2. According to the UGC (Open and Distance Learning) Regulations of 2017, certain fields like engineering, medicine, dental, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, and physiotherapy cannot be offered through Open and Distance Learning mode. However, a Supreme Court order dated March 11, 2019, states that B.Tech. degrees/diplomas in Engineering awarded by IGNOU to students enrolled up to the academic year 2009-10 will be recognized as valid, where applicable.

3. During the document verification process conducted by the User Department, selected candidates must present original certificates such as mark sheets for all years/semesters of graduation, provisional certificates, and degree certificates as proof of attaining the essential educational qualification and required experience in the relevant field, if applicable. Failure to provide these documents by the cut-off date will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.

4. Candidates who can substantiate, through documentary evidence, that the result of the essential educational qualification examination was declared on or before the cut-off date, and that they have passed, will be considered to meet the essential educational qualification requirement. It’s essential that the result of the essential educational qualification was declared by the University/Institute by the specified date. Merely having the result under process by the cut-off date will not fulfill the educational qualification requirement.
